TREASON!!!!!!

When an FBI agent is caught selling worthless information to the Russians he can face the death penalty.  When a soldier deserts his unit he can be shot on sight.  However when there is a well organized leak of stratagy to a foriegn government that enables an army of millions to invade our country, it is overlooked and in fact encouraged.  I am refering to an article on dailybulletin.com about our own border patrol giving locations of the Minutemen to the Mexican government.
Here we have citizens attempting to enforce the sovereignty of our nation, and our own government works against them.  This is just another sign that we have no intention of ever protecting our borders.  Memos are floating around the agency telling it's agents to never give credit to the Minutemen and in most cases to not even respond to calls from them.  We have even agreed to contact the Mexican authoraties if an invader is detained by one of these heros.  It has become quite apparent that our politicians do not care what we want.  They have been pandering to illegals and the busineses that hire them for decades.

HOMELAND SECURITY WHEN IT IS CONVIENENT

All the rhetoric about defending our homeland obviously only applies when the President feels it should.  The first WTC attack and the millenium plot had the involvement of men who pretended to be Mexican and crossed our southern border gaining amnesty in the 1980s.  Who knows how many more Islamic radicals have crossed since then and here we are worrying about cheap labor.
Let's forget for a moment that these parasites come across our border and steal jobs and welfare money without ever paying a dime in taxes.  With 9/11 as our mold, we should know that there are people who wish to kill us.  So why are we willing to leave the easiest entry to our country unguarded?  How can anyone take the President serious on a war against terrorism when he won't even use his executive power to close the borders.  Why are we fighting terror in other countries when we won't even stop the invasion of our own.  It is a conridiction in policy and the people are starting to see right through it.  The playing of politics has to stop somewhere.

      WHO'S RESPONSIBILITY IS IT ANYWAY
?

Let's just assume that our government is not going to do anything about it.  It is up to us to hold them accountable with their jobs.  If your representative is not strong on border protection than you need to let him know his job is at stake.  With the mid-term elections coming up, we need to use the power of our votes.  Everyone complains about big business controling politics.  We allowed it to happen when we decided to vote based on party lines allowing reps to sit in D.C. uncontested for years regardless of their records.  Wake up and look at other options.  I would hate to see the dems take control of the house this year, but I sure would love to see NEW Republicans.

So what you mean is I have to sit HERE!

It looks like old Moussaoui will spend the rest of his misserable life staring at a wall thinking to himself "I coulda' been a martyr".  He really thought he knew what he was doing with all the courtroom theatrics and insensitive rantings.  Just keep it up and 70 some virgins will be mine.  Well, he was sort of right.Surprise
I hear alot of people complaining that he should have gotten the death penalty.  They say he got off easy.  I just don't see it that way.  Sure I am a proponent of capitol punishment, but some people deserve to sit and think about how pathetic they are for a while.  All Moussaoui wanted was to go into the martyr hall of fame.  Now he just gets a toilet facing Mecca.  As they sentenced him he said that America lost, yet now he is trying to take back his guilty plea.  Of course, he can't do this because he gave up his right to appeal.  So it looks like he will be spending the next 40 years trying to convert all the rats in his cell to Islam.
Within the next year America's attention span will prevail over Moussaoui, completly forgetting he even exists.  I think it sends a clear message that attacking the U.S. is not an automatic trip to paradise.  As soon as the next blockbuster movie comes out Americans will be saying "Moussaoui who?".  At least complacency pays of every now and again.  He will not forget anytime soon though.  For the rest of his life he will live in a cage, only getting out for one hour a day.  Every night as he lays down to sleep, he will think about how he failed his child-molesting prophet.  He failed in the 9-11 attacks.  He failed in our courts.  He is a true coward and it will be a long time before he stops remembering why he has to sit in a cold dark cell forgotten about, even by those he was trying to impress.
So for all of you who believe that the jury screwed this one up, just remember he wanted to die.  Death would have been his way out.  He was not spared as the news has been reporting.  He will not be spared for decades.  At least on death row he would have had something to look forward to.

Did Jesus Have A Lawyer?

It is no surprise to anyone that we live in a politically correct society where everyone seems to be offended by just about everything.  Litigation appears to be the solution for anyone who is having a bad day.  Are you fat?  Sue McDonalds.  Can't breathe?  Sue industry.  Did you have to bear the sight of the ten commandments as you drove by a farm 75 mph? Take it too the Supreme Court.  Offended by those picture of your favorite prophet?  Sue....er.....blow something up.  At least we can count on one thing.  Christians will live their life according to that of Jesus and not be affected by such silly things.  Right?  Not so much.
Lurking in the shadows of evil there is a book set to destroy the fabric of our faith.  A novel that even offends Christ Himself according to Cardinal Francis Arinze of the ever-popular Catholic Church.  Call me crazy, but I didn't think Christ got offended.  This offended Cardinal seems to believe that Christians should all get together and sue Dan Brown for writing the New York Times bestselling Da Vinci Code.  The brilliant Cardinal called this FICTION "a masterful deception".  He said it was not enough for Christians to forgive and forget because other religions would not stand for such offenses to their beliefs.  "But mommy, he did it so can I"!
Where does this guy get off telling Christians not to be Christians?  The basis of our belifs is forgiveness.  I'm not even sure what we are supposed to forgive in this matter.  A man wrote a book that speaks of the Catholic Church in a dark manner.  I really think that is what it comes down to.  It has nothing to do with Christians being offended and everything to do with the Catholics being offended.  Honestly I have not even read the book, but this kind of makes want to get it.
Jesus taught us how to love each other and bring others to Him through that love.  He did not want us to force the issue through hateful lawsuits.  He spoke out against the lawyers of his time and here we are today with the Catholics wanting to seek revenge and punish a man just as the Pharisees did with those they considered sinners.  So instead of living our lives according to Christ, I guess we are supposed to live our lives according to Johnny Cochran.
When are we going to get it.  We have to be leaders in our community, not followers of a flawed system.  If we fall in to the trap of the perfect society where no one is ever offended or shocked, then how are we supposed to show people the truths about our existence.  There is always dissent waiting around every corner and we have to learn to handle it and not just suppress it because it will always come back ten fold.

A FED IN STATE'S CLOTHING

What is the Constitution?  It is meant to be the one fool-proof plan to prevent the revocation of our basic inalienable rights....right?  This beautiful document set in ink by our founding fathers with the idea that the people, not the government, would have control.  Well unfortunately it seems we all fell asleep at the helm, and now the Federal government is running away with all the power.
I grow sick as I watch the constitution thrown down in front of the Capitol as a welcome mat that politicians wipe their dirty, corrupt shoes on, as they enter to pass yet more legislation that will slowly cut the bill of rights off at the knees.  WIth every K street lobbyist and special interest activist, the foundation of America is decaying and the Government is growing exponentially.
Congress holds hearings and the judiciary legislates while the President declares war.  It should not matter how you feel about a particular issue, the queston should be, is it being addressed in the best interest of the people?  We let our emotions get into political matters such as abortion and gay rights and we forget, the Fed should have no jurisdiction.  Remember that this nation is not America.  It is The United States of America.  Just about every issue we deal with today is supposed to be handled on the state level.  The Supreme Court has the charge of interpreting the Constitution which has no authority over state legislators.  The whole purpose was to keep the Fed out of our politics and stick to what it does best, provide for the common defense.
We would be so much better off if we stuck to these principles.  For instance with abortion, which I happen to feel very strongly about, the states should be allowed to create their own standards.  As far as I'm concerned, Roe vs. Wade was illegal.  The sates are guarenteed a right to self Government which meen no Federal interference.  Sure, in my heart I would love to see a Federal abortion law, but it goes against the very principles this country was built on.  The same goes for issues such as gay rights.  Do I think gays should be married?  Not particulary, but if California wants to legalize it they should have every right under the Constitution.
There comes a time when you have to ask yourself, are you a conservative first, or a Republican, a liberal, or a Democrat.  You see, there is a difference between having core beliefs and having an agenda.  If all you have is an agenda, than you will find yourself compromising your principles to advance it.  The mindset in Washington is get it passed, get re-elected.  Well here is an idea, term limits.  With no reelection in sight, principles may actually win over.  Ofcousre I don't see this happening, it would involve the powers that be deciding they don't want power anymore.
So they just keep on working as hard as they can, ammending the Constitution daily with going through the states.  "We need a living, breathing Constitution", they say.  One that can change over time.  Last I checked we have a legal ability to do so.  Of course it does involve ratification.  I guess if we actually went that route than Big Daddy Fed would have to acknowledge who is really suppose to have the power.  But I guess we did it to ourselves.  Years of taking money from the government for healthcare, roads, education, and let's not forget welfare, we have as a society become greedy.  And like Louisianna and the drinking age issue, one threat of being cut off from federal highway handouts, they complied.  Is this what the founding fathers had in mind?  Somehow I doubt it.

Efficiency of government Part I-How a bill becomes law.

For all of you out there that still are not that familiar with how government works, here is a quick tutorial for you.................

For the purpose of this lesson, we will call this bill The Border Security Act of 2006.  The purpose of the bill is of course to provide security at our borders.

Step 1.- First the bill is introduced into the House by some desperate representative needing to be reelected.  This happens of course after one of their staffers finally reads a constituent's letter.

Step 2 - The bill is then sent out for sponsorship, in other words, even though it will not pass, many other desperate representatives will be able to say they tried.

Step 3 - In order to prevent a filibuster, an amendment is added that provides welfare benefits to young children who suffer from having a name that starts with the letter K.

Step 4 - The bill is sent to some backwards committee where the word "security" is redefined to mean "welcome mat".

Step 5 - Any and all enforcement provisions are weeded out.

Step 6 - Nancy Pelosi recommends an amendment be placed in the bill that requires the
U.S. to pull out of Iraq.

Step 7 - An investigation is called for and Pelosi's parents are called in to testify. Congressman Delay asks her Father why he forgot to "pull out"

Step 8 - Another amendment is added calling for 32 billion in education spending.

Step 9 - Amendment calling to reduce that amount by 5 percent in 10 years.  This will be titled "spending cut"

Step 10 - The vote gets delayed while they wait for
Mckinney to finish arguing with the racist cops.

Step 11 - The bill is finally voted on and sent to the Senate.

Step 12 - It comes to the Senate floor where-

Clinton calls for a filibuster

           Kerry calls for an Investigation

Kennedy calls for a Scotch on the rocks

           McCain calls himself a republican.................

Step 13 - A bridge to nowhere and a law requiring sweet tea to be sold in all restauraunts are added.

Step 14 - Finally the bill is passed on to the President for a signature or veto, yeah right!

Step 15 - The president signs the bill and after 37 trips to the Caymans, 5 calls for resignation, and who knows how much in taxpayer's money, we now have brand new bi-partisan law banning the sale or ownership of a firearm within 1,000 miles of an unborn spotted owl.

THE NEW COLD WAR

The war on terrorism has been compared to many things since it was started.  Vietnam, Pearl Harbor, some on the left compare it to Nazi Germany.  However, I have always noted the buildup to another cold war.  The only problem is that I don't see this one staying cold.

It is an unfortunate fact that we can secure peace only by preparing for war.
JFK on the cold war................

Just a week ago the story broke in
The L.A. Times that President Bush was going to implement a program enabling the U.S. to produce 125 new nuclear warheads a year.  Proliferation was supposed to have ended in the 80's.  One week later another story "leaks" that a nuclear option was on the table to deal with Iran.  This would appear to be a bit extreme to most logical minds.  However, today Iran has announced that it has finally enriched uranium.  President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was quoted by an AP writer as saying "I formally declare that Iran has joined the club of nuclear nations".
This makes me wonder if the sequence of events could possibly be coincidence.  Could it be that we are witnessing a nuclear chess game?  Can we even say with certainty that either side is truthful in it's claims.  Maybe everything we have heard is 100 percent accurate.  Unfortunately when it comes to government we never really know what is going on behind the scenes.  Well, there are several possibilities.  Here are two:

    - After 5 years of being on a war footing, President Bush has been put through more than any President since JFK.  The pressure is sure to take it's toll on any man at some point.  Is it possible that the taste of war has saturated the President's pallet to the point that he has gone mad?  Every situation leaves less of a diplomatic option.  We know that our troops are stretched thin after Afghanistan and Iraq.  With Iran apparently coming close to nuclear capabilities, how are we going to be prepared handle them.  After a while one begins to think that there is only one way to stop the Middle Eastern threat.  Send a message.  After all, it worked in Hiroshima.....right?  Just be prepared to destroy them before they can destroy us.

    - Decades in the making, Iran has finally had a major nuclear breakthrough.  We know what they want to do.  Israel now stands threatened with complete destruction, and after one nuke is deployed, it's curtains for the rest of the world.  We have few options.  One is that we continue diplomatic talks and hope the Muslim extremists have a sudden change of heart or we show them now that any move of aggression and they will be dealt with in a harsh manner.  So the President creates leaks that will be for the most part blown off by the mainstream, but taken quite seriously by the enemy.  Add that to talks of expanding our nuclear program, suddenly Iran is thinking about the consequences.  The only problem is that I don't see Iran responding the same way as the Soviets.  They wanted to avoid war as much as we did.

That is just what I have come up with in my head.  I know the President is receiving a lot of criticism, but I am not ready to judge as I don't have enough information.  If the President is thinking about preemptive nuclear strikes, than he truly has gone off the deep end.  But as I said, we never really know what's going on behind the scenes.  I do know one thing though, the past 5 years were nothing compared to what this nation is going to see in the near future.  I just pray to God that it can be resolved before everyone is left to make the ultimate decision.

In an age where conservatism is almost considered taboo, we need to stand up for our values and show the left that we are not going away. It's the voices of people like you and me that are going to shut down the liberal media. Which is why we cannot just sit back and watch, hoping that everything amazingly gets better. Far too many conservatives have the opinion that the voters will prevail every four years when in reality, the very people we have put into office have taken advantage of our complacency.

Government has grown, personal responsibility has become non-existent, and the fed is slowly encroaching on our basic rights. Is this because we voted in the wrong people, or is it because we simply stopped paying attention? Time to wake up guys!

Hopfully with the many voices online and those on radio, we can once again become the informed and active citizens our founding fathers were.
